General Information
All entries must be registered online at the STUDIO CENTER & paid in full 30 days prior to the first day of the event. All payments become non-refundable & non-transferable within 30 days of the event. Early Bird pricing is available to any organization that is paid in full by 45 days prior to the first day of the event. Late fees will be assessed for any organization not paid in full 30 days prior to the first day of the event. You also risk having your entries being deleted by the event. Please make sure that you check the release of liability & use of image (photo & video) for social media content. Please make sure that all categories, participants, levels, & birthdates are correct when entering. A $10 change fee will be assessed for any changes made within 15 days of the start of the event.
Last Dancer Standing reserves the right to add additional competition days and/or move the competition location due to unforeseen circumstances. It also reserves the right to cancel any event that does not meet the minimum number of applicable entries. In the event of a canceled event, (due to a health pandemic or other unforeseen natural disaster or world emergency) all entry fees will be refunded.
Types of Entries
Solos - can enter up to 3 solos in 3 different & distinct categories but only the highest scoring one will be allowed to move on in the Battle.
Duet/Trio - 2 & 3 dancers. You can enter up to 2 pieces in 2 different & distinct categories but only the highest scoring one will be allowed to move on in the Battle.
Age Divisions
All ages are defined as each dancers age on January 1, 2025. For duets/trios ages will be averaged together & the decimal point will be dropped if needed.
You are not allowed to dance more than one age division down. For example: if you have a duet with a Junior & Senior dancer then regardless of average age they will compete in the Teen Age Group.
High Score Age Divisions
- Petite 5 & under
- Mini 6-8
- Youth 9-11
- Juniors 12-14
- Teen 15-16
- Senior 17-18
Time Limits
Solos - 2:30
Duet/Trios - 2:30
Photography/Videography
The use of ANY device for videography is STRICTLY PROHIBITED during all performances as well as in dressing rooms and restrooms. Photographs of your dancer is permitted, however absolutely NO Flash Photography is allowed. Failure to comply with this rule may result in confiscation of the recordings and/or photographs. All dancers grant permission to Last Dancer Standing to use photography and videography of their performances for promotional purposes including advertising, publicity and posting on social media outlets.
